Student Village Official’s Job Satisfaction And Influencing Factors Research

The plan of "One Village One Student Village Officer" which has been implement since the start of2008has obtained certain results.Hiring the college students to serve in village, not only brought new energy to the China’s new rural construction,but also made China’s rural grassroots cadres team get stronger. However,with the development of the plan,some problems arise in practice.one of which is the loss of a large number of Student Village officers and few student village officers sign the contract extension after the expiration of their term.A variety of causes lead to the Student Village officer the high turnover rate,the key point is that the job satisfaction of the Student Village office, it is to some extent affected the turnover and job performance of the Student Village. Therefore, This article’s based on the Student Village officers of L County in Sichuan and study their job satisfaction as to learn overall satisfaction of their own work situation and to explore the factors which impact on their job satisfaction, and then put forward some relevant suggestion to improve the the job satisfaction of Student Village officers,in order to provide the reference for the management decisions of the Student Village officers in China.This article first summarize and analyze the research of job satisfaction and the Student Village officer. After that described the the design of this study.Then, making use of SPSS to analyze the sample with the descriptive analysis, T test, analysis of variance and regression. The study found that the the overall job satisfaction of the Student Village officer is low, the main factors which affect the job satisfaction of Student Village officer is the returns on work and the work itself. Finally, the combination of the theoretical basis of job satisfaction proposed measures to enhance the job satisfaction of Student Village officer.
