| Chinese e-government develops rapidly and achieves remarkably. But with thedevelopment of global knowledge economy, knowledge resources still dispersingredundantly, sharing insufficiently, and the difficult of retrieving and transformingknowledge resources to the desired goal, etc. restricts the harmonious development ofelectronic government. In the basis of the existing research achievements, this paperrelates electronic government with the theory about knowledge chain management,and tries to design a knowledge chain model for e-government of scientificalness andfeasibility. And it can provide some valuable references for sustainable development ofe-government.The first part of this paper makes a brief summary and evaluation of thedevelopment status of knowledge chain management firstly, so as to form a generaloutline about the research on knowledge chain.The second part introduces knowledge chain management and e-government indetail, including the content, structure, characteristics and elements, etc. Especially,this article elaborates on the basic structure of KC in e-government and the theoryabout the KC in e-government, like the definition, characteristics and administrativeecological environment, etc. So the theoretical foundation can be set up.The third part introduces the current situation of knowledge chain ine-government with the investigating about the service condition of knowledge chain ine-government. And the problems of KC in e-government can be found. For example,governmental knowledge redundancy, knowledge updating lately, personal knowledgemonopolies, etc.Based on the above, the forth part analyzes the possibility about buildingknowledge chain in e-government model, and discusses that this model can be builtfrom the researching on KC in e-government’s theory, principles, etc. Meanwhile, themaneuverability of governmental KC can be proved. For this reason, research onknowledge chain in electronic government is rationality, feasibility and validity. |
