Korean Peninsula and Chinese scenery is connected,is as close as lips and teeth, its peace and stability necessarily involves China’s vital security interests. The split of the Korean Peninsula is a direct product of US-Soviet confrontation inthe Cold War. However, the end of the Cold War in the global sense didn’t bring theunification of the Korean Peninsula, which situation has been wandering in the cycleof relaxation and tension. The establishment and adjustment of China’s policy on the Korean Peninsula isthe result of multiple factors, China-Us relations is one of the core variables. After theoutbreak of the Korean War, China has been facing the serious threat posed by theUnited States on the Korean peninsula for a long time. In order to safeguard nationalsecurity, China and North Korea formed a close alliance, and adopted deterrent Policy. The easing of China-Us relations and a national shift in the focus of work has greatlychanged the decision-makers’ cognition of interests and threats, and promoted China’sdiplomacy into a new period of adjustment. China’s new policy is to encourageinter-Korean détente and peaceful coexistence. From the perspective of the interests, security interests and economic interests dominated the consideration of China on theKorean Peninsula issue.First of all the time range of this paper is defined in1949to1992, during thefounding of New China to the establishment of diplomatic relations between Chinaand South Korea. Secondly, the analysis of this paper is based on two logical points:(1)China, as one of the interactive actors in Korean Peninsula, didn’t have completeinformation;(2) in the case of incomplete information situation, the judgment andunderstanding of China in terms of situation, threat and interest is not objective orpractical. Therefore, this paper is on the premise of incomplete information, analyzesthe China’s policy on Korean Peninsula and proposes some logical understandingsand judgment.
