Research On The System Of Fujian Local People’s Congresses (1953-1966)

In this paper, the people’s Congress system as the research object, taking Fujian as a research space. Firstly, the Communist Party of China in the period of democratic revolution of the representative system exploration and from after the founding of the "Cultural Revolution" started before the local people’s Congress System in the course of development of Fujian. Then the paper analyzes this time Fujian people’s congresses, representatives of the composition of the election, the political participation, and this period of Fujian people’s congresses authority and their performance of duties. Then, this paper analyzes the influence of the Chinese Communist Party leadership role in the Fujian people’s congresses and political movement in this period frequently to Fujian people’s congresses. Finally, through the study of this subject, summarizes some experience and lessons in the development process of this period, the people’s Congress system, so as to provide some historical reference for the development and perfection of the people’s Congress System in china.
