Research Of China’s Network Politics And Its Countermeasures

There is no doubt that computers and the Internet has become an indispensable part ofmodern people’s daily life. An important manifestation in the political ifeld is the rise anddevelopment of Network Politics. At present, because of its convenience, equality andlfexibility, Network Politics has become the new media platform for people to express theirwishes, discuss current affairs and participate politics, it has also become an importantbattleifeld of public opinion in the Network Information Age. Network Politics have had aprofound influence on our country’s democratic political environment, the citizen’s politicalparticipation and many other aspects.In the report of the eighteenth National Congress of the CPC，comrade Jintao Hustressed:“make the exercise of power open and standardized; improve transparency in partyaffairs, government affairs, judicial affairs and other areas; perfect inquiries, accountabilitysystem; strengthen inner-party supervision, democratic supervision, legal supervision andsupervision by public opinion; let the people supervise the power, make the power exercisedin the’sunshine’”. Accordingly, build the platform of Network Politics, speed up theconstruction of Network Politics and promote the political participation of citizens hasbecome an important task for the government at all levels. At the moment, the NetworkPolitics in China has entered a new stage of rapid development, there is a lot of problems andshortcomings need to be improved and perfected, therefore, how to strengthen the NetworkPolitics building, how to promote China’s democratic political process has become a complexand difficult subject.This paper is divided into four parts, the ifrst part elaborate the rise of China’s NetworkPolitics, the stage of its development and the current status; through the relevant examples,the second part summarizes the main problems existing in China’s Network Politics from thegovernment, public opinion expression and netizens levels; The third part analysis the reasonof the current problems, summarizes the factors restricting the development of China’sNetwork Politics; The last part has made the earnest reflection and propose a solution withreality.
