Study On The New Generation Of Migrant Workers In The Ideological And Political Education

With rapidly development of Chinese economy and the acceleration of the process of "urbanization"; more and more youthful farmers who come from rural are flocking to the city. A new group emerges on the society. That is the new generation of migrant workers. The society pays more attention to this new group because their influence on society. They are regarded as the main force of the development of our economy and society. With the time passing by, the impact on Chinese economy and social development of the new group will be deepening. However, it is groups that make a significant contribution to society and create enormous wealth are being confronted with various sorts of difficulties of survival and development. A series of aspects are changing in their condition of survival, ideology, psychology and behaviors that not only impact their own growth, but become a problem that influence the social development. The word "new" is the most significant characteristics of the group which determines that there is a huge difference between the migrant workers and the other workers in their growth environment, life experience, world outlook and life view. Therefore, study on the ideological and political education on migrant workers is full of value.This thesis across the whole of the ideological and political education on migrant workers, based on the research of the ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers, research on the problems and countermeasures of the new generation of migrant workers more deeply. Firstly the paper summarizes the related theories and research achievements on ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers. Through applying the scientific ideological and political education achievements of domestic and foreign, excavating the value of education and the science of the content of the new generation of the migrant workers deeply. Secondly, this paper analyzes the current situation of the new generation of migrant workers through questionnaire; pointing out a series of problems on thoughts of the new generation of migrant workers and analysis of the current status of ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers. Based on those researches, this paper discusses the reasons of these problems. Finally, propose some pointed countermeasures to these problems.
