A Study Of The Ideological Political Education To China’s New Generation Of Migrant Wokers

With the rapid development of China’s economy, the acceleration of urbanization and the growing age of migrant workers, the beginning of reform and opening up of migrant workers gradually withdraw from the stage of history, the new generation of migrant workers who were born after 1980 s and 1990 s began to become an important force of social development and urban construction. However, due to our country’s long implementing the urban-rural dual system of household register system, the new generation of migrant workers cannot enjoy the same social power and treatment given by the government like urban residents, led to not so ideal living situation and lack of basic social security; In addition, their social competitiveness is not strong due to their low cultural quality, resulting in difficult employment, low income, and hard to fit in to urban life. In this case, the ability to do a good job in the work of Ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers, is in relation to the socialist harmonious society construction and the building of a new socialist countryside, also affect the comprehensive development of the new generation of migrant workers themselves. Therefore, it is urgent for us to recognize the problems existing in the ideological and political education of migrant workers, and to strengthen the ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers through various ways and methods. Firstly, I defined the concept of ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers and then elaborated with related theory. Secondly, the necessity of strengthening ideological and political education are discussed from three aspects in this paper, those three aspects are the need to enrich and develop the ideological and political education, to enhance the comprehensive quality of the new generation of migrant workers and to promote the new generation of migrant workers to fit into the city better. The importance of strengthening ideological and political education are also discussed from three aspects, they are building a harmonious society, building a new socialist countryside and promoting the comprehensive development of the new generation of migrant workers. Thirdly, analysis of the status of Ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers through the way of questionnaire survey, summarize the existing problems based on the results, and then discussed the cause of the existing problems from the ideological understanding level, system level, social culture environment, personal quality of several aspects. Last but not least, aiming at the existing problems and the causes, the Countermeasures of strengthening the ideological and political education of the new generation of migrant workers are put forward. Mainly from five aspects: Play the role of the subject of Ideological and political education, enrich and perfect the content of Ideological and political education, innovate the method of Ideological and political education, optimize the environment of Ideological and political education and improve the comprehensive quality of the new generation of migrant workers.
