Research On Xi Zhongxun’s Viewpoints Of Economyic Thought

Xi Zhongxun was a famous revolutionary. He devoted his life to China’srevolution and construction, and economic work is a major bright spot in all hislife’s revolutionary work. Xi Zhongxun as the main revolutionary base creator andleader of Shaanxi-Gansu border region and one of the pioneer work of reform andopening up, his economic views were produced under the common role of the needsof revolution and the era of transformation. It has significance for economicdevelopment in today.This paper will use literature review method, empirical research method andmultidisciplinary crossover method. On the basis of research Xi Zhongxun’s literaryselections, biography and scholr’s academic achievement, relate and analyze theeconomic views in three parts. The first part will analysis of the generation of XiZhongxun’s economic views in social background, theoretical sources and practice.The thought was an outcome of revolutionary struggle and reform and opening up,and accepted practice under the guidance of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought andDeng Xiaoping theory. The paper also put forward the development of XiZhongxun’s economic views has experienced three periods, the period ofshensi-kansu-ningsia border region, the period of revolution and construction andthe period of reform and opening up. In these periods, Xi Zhongxun put forward aseries of thoughts about economic development. In the second part, the paperresearch the contents of Xi Zhongxun’s economic views. In agriculture, XiZhongxun pay a high attention to the comprehensive of agricultural development,improve working enthusiasm farmers through land reform movement, and try themutual cooperation way. In industrial, he protected the national industry andcommerce, adjusted the enterprise management mode and developed talents. At thesame time, he developed commercial trade, culture, science and technology.The third part of paper will discusses the characteristics and significances of XiZhongxun’s economic views. Practice of the party’s fine tradition in interests of thepeople, through the scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts, always perseverethe development is central task in work, reflects the pioneering spirit of innovationare Xi Zhongxun’s four main features of economic views. The thoughts’ theoreticalsignificances are practice Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping’s reform andopening-building theory. The practical significances are development the economicof Shaanxi-Gansu border region to ensure the material supplies for the victory ofrevolutionary, provide reference for other region bases and lay a foundation for thespecial economic zone set up.Overall, in the history of the Chinese revolution and construction process, Xi Zhongxun’s economic ideas to develop the national economy, chang thebackwardness and poverty status.
