Study On The Ideological And Political Education Of The Floating Population

After the founding of new China, the household contract responsibility systemfor the implementation of the liberation of the rural labor force, as the peasant migrantworkers provide possible. Reforming and opening and socialist modernization, therapid development of labor intensive industry and the tertiary industry to providemore employment opportunities for the rural labor force. This is the objective cause offloating population formation. The subjective reason of floating population is theformation of high income longing and yearning for a better life in the city. These twofactors drove the peasants in the flow of city scale and formatted of floatingpopulation.In order to improve the ideological and political education of the floatingpopulation for the purpose, the article is divided into four chapters. The first chapterintroduces the floating population social and historical background and livingcondition and the population’s characteristics and the ideological quality status, andthen leads to the contradiction of floating population and urban construction in thecity where it is. The second chapter is divided into four parts. The first part conceptbuilding a harmonious society from the scientific development, the second part isfrom the social stability and modernization, the third part is from the aspects of thefloating population of ideological and political education from the aspects of its ownquality and value significance. The third chapter introduces the difficulties anddeficiencies in the work of ideological and political education of floating populationof the ideological and political education target, content, pertinence, effectiveness,personnel and other aspects. The fourth chapter based on the previous three chapters,shortage of floating population itself and the characteristics of the ideological andpolitical education, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.With the development of modernization and the city, the number of floatingpopulation showed increasing trend, to2012, the total number of floating populationin China reached230000000.By2050, the floating population in China will continueto support growth, growth rate will gradually slow down. Therefore, how to do a goodjob in this large group of Ideological and political education work is playing a crucial role for China’s socialist modernization drive and in building a harmonious socialistsociety.
