Study On Management Of College Student Soldiers In The New Era

With the fine tuning of our country’s conscription policy, some students from colleges have been drafted into the army in the planned way since the year of2,000. Through the practice for about10years, it is reflected that the recruitment of students from colleges have effectively improved the soldiers’degrees and structure of knowledge. Our conscription policy was adjusted again in2010and the recruitment was extended to college graduates, and the system has formed combining university graduates (including students still in universities) and senior (junior) middle school graduates, thus the soldiers’cultural quality has been improved in the comprehensive way. Large numbers of outstanding students with distinct characteristics of times have been found in the barracks, and it can not only turn our army’s information construction to a new page, but also it will bring the new challenge to our traditional management. Therefore, how to do well in management according to the characteristics of soldiers with university schooling background, and how to make them bring their own wisdom and talents into full play and boost the course of our army’s information construction has become an important issue for us to consider. Although each unit has been studying and exploring the theory and practice of management of college students soldiers, the study is still in the stage of "isolation and independence" and it has not formed "systematic study" at present.Taking management of college student soldiers as the study object, this paper starts with analyzing the current situation of college student soldiers, and makes thorough analysis of main problems that the army is faced with in the course of management of soldiers with university schooling background. Abstracting from the new characteristics, new situation and new problems that appear in the units’ management after college student soldiers have been enrolled in the army, and on the basis of understanding the new characteristics, analyzing the new situation and solving the new problems, the paper also seeks for concrete measures and countermeasures, and strives to bring the state of "isolation and independence" into the orbit of "systematic" study so as to enrich and perfect the theoretical and practical system that helps to do well in management of soldiers with university schooling background, thus providing some reference for management activities.
