PLA is our people’s army.They not only charge with the mission of winning a war to protect our motherland, but also charge with the maintenance of social stability in countries other tasks. But the army has to maintain its freshness and vitality,so it must flow.Which determines as a soldier,quitting the army is inevitable.Our country will be in proportion to arrange a number of military officers to leave the army every year.They will do some local units works.This is our country and the military’s important system for a long time.This paper focuses on the relationship between retired officers of the individual factors,social factors and job search intentions, job search behavior. It wants to provide some theoretical basis for the placement of retired officers.In this study,we have done some research about values,abilities structure,personality traits, social atmosphere employment,social supportjob search intention,job-related behavior theory.Then we summarize the relationship proposed research model and the corresponding research hypotheses. In this study, we get the primary data through questionnaires,and the data were processed with SPSS. The main analytical methods are independent samples T-test, ANOVA,multiple linear regression analysis and so on. Through the empirical research, we draw the following conclusions:the values of retired military officers,their ability structure,their personality traits and social support has a significant positive correlation with job search intention and job search behavior. And we have verified the moderating effect of job intentions between the individual factors,social factors and the job search behavior.The government can do some resettlement of retired officers according to individual factors. And it can raise officers’work satisfaction.
