Intervention is an important phenomenon in international relations. It becomes the main cause of some national conflicts. Since the90s of the20th century, interventionism has been discussed as a hot topic in international studies. With the end of the cold war, the United Nations takes lots of peacekeeping operations to involve regional conflicts, especially the internal problems. This kind of intervention has conflict with the sovereignty doctrine of the United Nations Charter. As a result, controversies about the interference theory have begun. The controversies refer: Should or shouldn’t the U.N. interfere in internal affairs? Are there any changes of the traditional sovereignty principles? Could the solution of human rights problem be an exception of sovereign interference? Which way is the best solution to solve regional conflicts? In this paper, the "interference" of USA on Korean Peninsula will be discussed. The purpose is to reveal what kind of strategy that the USA government wants to achieve, and how this strategy will influence the peace and stability on Korean peninsula. Whether there is a certain reasonable "intervention" on Korean Peninsula will also be discussed.So far, there are lots of definitions and opinions about the conception of "intervention". This is a complex issues, it is not because the descriptive of this conception, but also its normative. It describes what is happening and at the meantime making a valuable judgment. In Chinese dictionary it first means concern and relations, and second means bother and interference. For example, the principle of noninterference. In "Encyclopedia Americana" the meaning of "intervention" is to interfere, usually through force or threat of force, in the affairs of another nation. In the field of international politics, the research results about "intervention" through a humanitarian and international law lens is plentiful, some local studies are also included. From these research results we can find out that the intervention of the USA has already throughout every corner of the earth, such as military, culture and economy. As the Korean Peninsula occupies an important strategic significant in the American global strategy, after the cold war, the USA takes various excuses to intervene this region to achieve a absolute dominant position in this area.
