Case Studies Of The Grassroots NGO Participated For Target Populations In Social Security

As providers of social security service, the Grassroots NGO for LGBT have served vulnerable homosexual groups which are exposed to HIV. They played important roles in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, also helping the infected people.This research chose a specific Grass Root Organization ’gay A’ as a case, using theories about social security, communalism, social development to define the relationship between the Grassroots NGO’ development and the social security improvement. Besides, we’re trying to find out the necessity and advantages that the Grassroots NGO to provide service for the HIV-exposed population. Furthermore, we’d like to give our opinions on the problems and limitations of Grassroots NGO for LGBT in participating social security service, after describing their special ways and merits.What’s more, the study shows why the LGBT Grassroots NGO are important to the mainstream society besides homosexual communities. At the end of the paper, some general conclusion would be drawn, which is about how the Grassroots NGO could go further and better in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment and other services.In general, this article took a organization function perspective, using studying tools such as field experiments to describe the connections inside and outside the Grassroots NGO for LGBT, to find out the feasible ways of their development in serving vulnerable groups and protecting minority’s rights. From now on, researchers could take the view of the Grassroots NGO researching as an optional studying way which expands the studying field of social security by aiming at special NGO service providers to special vulnerable groups’ supporting and rights protecting.
