Study On The Right To Support The Empty-nesters In Urban

Under the background of aging population,"getting old before getting rich" is not only a test of each family, but also a test of the whole country. No matter making "must often go home to have a look" into law, or "house-for-pension scheme" are both of the topic discussion. The pension problem has gradually become one of the most important issue to the most of the people.The elderly has become a social problem.We should pay more attention to this group. Especially those whose children are studying or working far from home.They live alone in their empty houses. So these elderly are different from the general structure.They are far away from the social group activities, and their children can’t accompany them.So they will encounter more difficulties than the general elderly. Facing the rising empty nest, how to safeguard their rights? Who will support? How to support? These are the realistic problem to be solved urgently. We also have to focus on the rural and the city empty nest in support of protection. Material needs to the rural empty nest are more urgent than the city empty nest, while the city empty nest demand spirit much stronger. Therefore, we have to solve their problems in different ways. Let’s talk about of the city empty nest, taking a105empty nest of community A in Benxi Liaoning province as an example. We make in-depth interview to collect the points of the material support, the life support and the spiritual support and will give reasonable suggestions.This contains six parts. The first part includes the significance of this research, research the present situation of domestic and foreign, methods and innovations and shortcomings.The theory significance of this study is the endowment extension to make the city empty nester can truly live "sense of security" life.Then promote the society develop healthily and orderly. The domestic research study of the empty nest is later than foreign countries. The relevant literatures are very lack of, let alone the relevant literatures link to the city empty nest and support rights. Through the existing research results the author analyzed and summarized this thesis’s innovation points and deficiencies. The second part is a summary of the general theory of the empty nest including the definition of the empty nest, reason analysis and empty nest support rights.The third part introduces the population of Benxi City, and the proportion of community A in the whole empty nest. Then make comprehensive analysis from the economic support, life support and the spiritual support of the A community. In the end, through in-depth interviews of the typical cases and listen to the empty nest real voice face-to-face.The fourth part is mainly talking about the questions of city empty nest analysis to the sample. In the material support. Old people’s income level is too low and the children support ability also turns down so it is a serious phenomenon. In the life support, medical security level, family care resources and social service system are not perfect in the life support.The most outstanding problem to city empty nest are their children have little respecting consciousness,they have poor spiritual life and the lack of protection of China.The fifth part is the countermeasures to solve the problem. First of all,w e should strengthen the material guarantee, continue to improve the minimum li fe guarantee system, ensure the operation of pension system is reasonable and effective.We also should encourage the empty nest to improve autotrophic abi lity; secondly,we should improve the support ability, and constantly improve th e medical security system, the establishment of medical service system, the dev elopment of social endowment service industry, the innovation of the social pen sion, the importance of the family traditional pension mode,perfect communit y service system; finally,we should pay more attention to the empty nest’s spir itual support, to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation lovi ng and respecting the elders, enrich the empty nest poor spiritual and cultural life, improve the legal system of the spiritual support of the empty nest.The sixth part is the conclusion of this study.
