Due to the contradictions between the supply and demand of land resources and the population growth prominent, people analyze land used issues from macro to micro in different angles, and study it from the spatial layout and the number of structure, and provide reliable basis for spatial optimal allocation of land and resources. However, it needs multi-scale spatial data as the foundation to make space analysis of the land used in different scales. so it is particularly important to build multi-scale spatial database of land use in land and resources management. In the second national land survey work, the advanced construction of spatial database was introduced to build a spatial database of land use. Under the powerful spatial database technology support and driven by demand for multi-scale spatial data of the land use,a large number of and multi-scale spatial data for land use is produced, but the diversity of platform in producing data, different data format, they causes the difficulties in data sharing; Reference is presented in this paper, on the basis of a large number of literature at home and abroad, the exploration on the construction of multi-scale spatial database construction of land use, and providing a train of thought for building a multi-scale. Main research content and the desired results in this paper:1. Analyze the research situation on spatial database technology at home and abroad and the spatial database construction on land use, and make study on the related technology of Multi-scale spatial data constructing at home and abroad and the technical problems on multi-scale spatial database construction presently.2. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of several methods in spatial data model, spatial data storage managements, and research the mechanism of integration of spatial data and attribute data storage and management.3. Analyzed the characteristics of multi-scale spatial data and current plan for building a multi-scale spatial data, and make researches on advantages and problems of each scheme. Mainly study the multi-scale spatial data in the process of building the establishment of the connected relationship between multi-scale data. There are two ways to establish the connected relations, one is through coding on the same object by integrating data and building relationships property sheet by changing object, the other is through the spatial entity one-to-one and one-to-many match. 4. Conceptual design and logical design, spatial data stratified and table structure have been done in the spatial database.5. Establishe a multi-scale administrative region (state (city), county, township) integrated spatial database for land use, base on the one-to-one, one-to-many, zero to one or zero-to-many relationship between the multi-scale space entities, and establish the relationship between multi-scale data attribute table for connectivity.6. Basing on NET and AE developed an auxiliary tool of building a database, we use the tool to fill the administrative code, feature code, code, polygon fill area and class diagrams of plaque area in database, through the checking function of data quality,structure, properties, topology and other content were checked. The county unit of spatial data was warehoused by Warehousing tools.
