China's Regional Differences In Spatial And Temporal Evolution Of The Marine Economy

The space-time diversity of China’s marine economic regional system has becomethe hot topic in academia. Regarding the development theory of domestic andoverseas regional economic disparity as the instruction, this article did a lot ofempirical research on China’s regional economic disparity, then discussed the specificreason for the difference, and at last put forward the strategic countermeasure for thecoordinative development of regional Marine economy, and further thought about therelated problem. the basic framework of paper also built based on the idea. Diversityin regional Marine economic development includes diversity of time series and spatialdiversity. Focused on qualitative theoretical analysis, this article used the mainmethods including literature review,related theory of regional economics， theanalysis and introduction in regional economics, etc. Mainly USES the quantitativeanalysis in the practical analysis, and used the corresponding mathematical modelsand methods for comprehensive analysis.Through feature analysis of evolution time of the difference between China’s regionalMarine economy, marine economic aggregate in China raised since the late90s, thepolarization phenomenon is obvious, but the polarization speed slowed down.Through analyzing the spatial characteristics in the evolution of the regional Marineeconomic difference, this article found that regional absolute difference and relativedifference presented the expanded tendency, individual year has the certainfluctuation. The development of China’s Marine economy level obviously showsregional differences of north and south. Because of uphold a good industrial base,marine economic aggregate of the southern coastal areas in China is generally higherthan the central and northern of China. Large amounts of foreign investmenttransferred to the north, however, and had concentrated in Shanghai and aroundYangtze River delta region, and then made the development of Marine economy incentral higher than that of north and south to a certain extent. Overall, difference ofChina’s Marine economy is from regional differences, regional internal differences arelarger than the south and north central areas. Overall regional differences showed atrend of expansion, regional internal differences will converge in a region. Resourcesendowment, spatial agglomeration economy, national policy and foreign investment inclination and so on are the main factors that influence the differences of regionalMarine economy in China.
