The risk does exist on every field, because of uncertain factors and force majeure. In the domestic and oversea elevator industry, various risks appear in the common and daily management of company. It’s the duty of the top management of company to collect expects’ wise to control the risk via best solutions. It’s the point to prevent or reduce the loss caused by the risks mentioned, and to maximize the company’s profit and value. For the research and development of high speed elevator at present China, the project management is still at the very beginning and un-advanced stage. There is no effective and actual risks management method in the research project of high speed elevator in Chinese elevator manufacturer. Hence, for the research project mentioned above, it’s necessary to recognized the risks accurately, assess the risks overall and bring out the best method of risk control. It’s important for accelerate the developing of elevator industry in China to bring out the risk control method which is suitable to domestic situation in a short time.This thesis focuses on the theory of risk control method of research and development project. Here we recognize the risk existing in the project via brainstorming, assess and analyze the risk in the research project of H800high speed elevator via expert evaluating method. Obtain the importance of risk factors existing via the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. And assess the risk via quantitative method, analyze the method of risk control. Then bring out the method to prevent or transfer the risks. Preparing well to various risks before the research project of high speed elevator, will improve much in the risk control of company’s project management.
