Along with the Chinese economic development,the number of vehicles produced and sold in China have reached 25.225 million and 25.311 million in 2020,becoming the largest auto sold market in the world.By the end of 2020,there were about 280 million cars driven in road in China,the figure only less than America in the word.However,such a huge market has to be viewed as of being an opportunity and challenge as well for the whole auto industry not only in China but also across over the entire world.Thus,how to catch the opportunity and avoid the competitive threat,becomes a key strategic issue being considered by all the auto manufacturing firms.In order to win the market,the firm managers have to learn how to do the risk control.In the process of any new product development,risk management must be the important factor to be considered,because good risk management in project can not only shorten the product development lead time and reduce the project cost,but also enable to guarantee the product quality,and build-up the enterprise quality image,as well as naturally enhance the company soft power.Based on the theory of project risk management,the paper purpose is identify risk and risk quantitative analysis.Through Brain-storming to help S automobile company can quickly identify the risks existing in the sensor project,and use the Delphi process to quantitative the risk,and sort out the risk prioritized list,which can make the good resources applied to the highest risk factors,to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the project.In order to building a closed-loop risk management system,to setup more efficient risk response and monitoring measures,the paper will improve the risk management of S Auto Company with regard to reducing labor,time cost to be attributable to the improper risk management.The risk action list has been set up for S automobile company,which is a reference for quotation team handover with product development team.Project resource can be arranged base on risk prioritized list,and made more effective risk response methods by risk prioritized list,it has worked for project development and reduce the same problem occurring repeatedly.The conclusion reached in this study not only can play a role in guiding the researched firm’s risk management of new product R&D,but also be able to provide some beneficial references for those related businesses.
