The production process will generate a lot of multi-source information because of the complexity and changeability of production environment. If the lack of effective access to get information exists, it may result in a large number of negative factors such as incompleteness, delay, inaccuracy and so on when collecting information. The transference of information is interrupted exactly. As an important part of MES, the collection and processing of manufacturing information can solve the interruption problem. Therefore, the point how to build an efficient manufacturing system for information collection and processing is worthy of further study to realize the goal that the collection and processing of manufacturing information is comprehensive and timely.Based on the analysis of production condition and operation flow of a discrete manufacturing enterprise, this paper carries on the requirements ’analysis from three aspects as information-collection, information analysis, and digital workshops’ needs. Then, the five-layer system architecture and the system integration scheme based on a single BOM are established. Through the use of UML, the function model is established. At the same time, the business processes of system are analyzed. The template-based information collection method is raised in this paper. Considering the characteristics of process information, various informations are classified modeling by the way of object orientation. Afterwards, manufacturing information templates and products’ structure templates are set up. The template instantiation method is also presented. In the end, the method of information collecting is designed based on the process requirement. This paper raises the design scheme of manufacturing informations’ processing orienting to function and services. Several kinds of information are analyzed and processed primarily as personnel, material, equipment and quality. Meanwhile, the visualization method of manufacturing information is discussed based on MBOM and multi-views. Finally, XML-based information integration model is studied.On the basis of study on the above key technologies and the practical needs of the enterprise, this paper uses Spring MVC, Hibernate, Ajax and so on to develop most functions of the system based on JAVA EE. Meanwhile, the system is initially integrated with MES system. With the instance of this system, the feasibility of application is verified at last.
