Management Of Highway Construction Project Costs

Cost management is one of the key factors of core competitiveness in modern construction enterprise. The study objective of this paper is to provide definite basis of theory and practice for cost management of highway construction project, so that increasing cost management ability and benefit of construction project.In this paper, firstly, the basic theory about project management and project cost management were summarized, Cost composition and partition of construction project were introduced, and the principles to be followed of cost management of highway engineering construction project were discussed, and its influencing factors were analysed also. Secondly, this paper elaborated the current situation of cost management of highway engineering construction project in China, deeping analysed current existing problems and reasons in cost management of highway engineering construction project. Thirdly, aim at existing problems, corresponding solutions were raised, which included replacing cost management philosophy, selecting scientific the methods of cost management, and building scientific and effective security system of cost management. Lastly, combinning practical case, implement of cost management of highway engineering construction project were comprehensive discussed and analysed, and performance effect were evaluated.
