As an important verification and testing process before a complex system engineering, the computer simulation has been widely used in various fields of national defence and civil research, meanwhile, its technology and method also develops and deepens constantly. This paper carries out the research and implementation of the visual simulation based on the engineering development background of gliding guided aerial bombs. The article mainly includes the following works:1) The overall schemes of visualization simulation system is designed. The tasks and the requirements of the design are determined after the requirements analysis. On this basis, the first step is to divide the hierarchical structure, and then the modules are established, the program interfaces and function invocation are determined.2) The overall schemes models are built by using the object-oriented technology and the model driven layer which is the source of the simulation data in the hierarchical structure of the system is realized, The mathematical model with the trajectory and control functions are analyzed, and each module is realized in the form of class after determining the call relations of functions.3) The visual simulation of the system is realized. The key technologies such as MFC interface framework, Measurement Studio control development, OpenGL animation and Hybrid Programming of Visual C++and Matlab are presented.4) The simulation experiments and results of the system are analyzed. The process of the the visual simulation,data analysis and the animation display function are tested by analyzing the performance of the simulation results.The simulation results show that the system proposed with a friendly software interface has good generality and scalability, which meets the performance requirements.
