"Tongfu Soup" Experimental Study Of Abdominal Surgery Intestinal Propulsion Rate And Plasma Motilin In Rats

Purpose:This experiment uses the grade clean wistar rats as the research object, to observe the influence of small intestinal propulsion rates and the level of plasma motilinon abdominal postoperative rats by the "Tong-fu decoction" in order to clarify the mechanism of action and curative effect of the drug at the function of bowel-relaxing, promoting the circulation of qi, invigorate the circulation of blood, relieve pain and to promote gastrointestinal function recovery by experimental study.Material and method:In this experiment, we distribute30wistar rats into two groups by randomized blocks,which are drug controlled group, blank controlled group. Each group has15rats. After adaptive feed in one week, we build colonic anastomosis model by the way written in the literature by Shen-ping, to fast food and water on the operation day, to eat liquid and drug on the postoperative day (blank controlled group:to gavage the warm water of4.5ml/kg, drug controlled group:to gavage0.72g Tong-fu decoction/ml,4.5ml/kg) q. d, for3days. After the last dosing, the rates should be fasted food, no water (fasted water before the experiment in2hours). After24hours, each group of rats should be gavaged with mixed with dextran blue2000semisolid paste0.3ml/100g. After30mins, the enterocoelia of the rats should be opened quickly, to sampling the blood2ml in aorta abdominalis, And then we should ligature the pylorus and cardia of the rats, to get the small intestine between pylorus and ileocecal junction immediately. We can get the the level of plasma motilin by Auto-RIA counter, and propulsion rates of small intestine.Results:1.The influence on the level of plasma motilin The level of plasma motilin on drug controlled group is higher than on blank controlled group significantly, with statistical significance (p<0.01) 2.The effects on small intestinal propulsion rates The effects on small intestinal propulsion rates on drug controlled group is higher than on blank controlled group significantly, with statistical significance (p<0.05)Conclusion:1."Tong-fu decoction" could obviously increase the level of plasma motilin on abdominal postoperative rats2."Tong-fu decoction" could obviously increase the small intestine propulsion rates of abdominal postoperative rats and its curative effect is better than blank controlled group.
