Wei, Jin, the Southern and Northern dynasties is the second North-South divideand turbulence times in the ancient history of China. In the early stage of Wei, Jin,Southern and Northern dynasties, with the imigration to the central plains of theNorthwest minority, a large number of people in the Central plains had to escape tothe South. However, in the later dynasties of Southern and Northern, the situationthat people from north to south had changed, insteading of people in the southimigrated to north for many years.With the growing strength of the North and the internal political more stability,the North had been cathing up with the South, in political, military and economicaspects, and that occupying an absolute advantage. However, during the same period,outbreaking of Hou Jing in the Liang domestic, the Imperial Royal family to powerand in-fighting, made the already volatile regime become more precarious. EasternWei, Northern Qi, and Western Wei, Northern Zhou, taking advantage of the largeamounts of land in the South and plundering a large southern population. As a result,it brought four mass waves of people moved north in the South.This article is an excerpt from the later of Southern and Northern dynasties-theperiod of Liang Chen, people immigrated from south to north as a research object.According to different status, dicussing the various reasons of people imigrated fromsouth to north, and exploring the impact of those people in the North.
