This paper takes the theory of comparative analysis and biased mistakes analysis as its direction, comprehensively and systematically comparing the similarities and differences between the syntax structures and methods of expressing in Chinese and Vietnamese "V zhe" existential sentences. What follows next is an investigation of the situation surrounding use of "V zhe" existential sentences, the distribution, types and reasons of biased mistakes among Vietnamese Chinese-language learners of beginning, middle and advanced levels, upon which, the paper will be based to bring about corresponding teaching strategies and suggestions.This paper consists of five chapters.The Introductory Chapter mainly explains the origin of topic selection, purposes and meanings of this research as well as the summary of the situation of current researches relating the topic of the paper. Based on the theory of comparing analysis and biased mistakes analysis, this paper sorts out the interrelated research, including the research in the field of Vietnamese and Chinese languages biased mistakes, the research of existential sentences itself as well as those of Chinese existential sentence, summarizing the relating research done by Chinese and Vietnamese scholars, and pointing out the still existing problems.Chapter Two elaborates the objective of the research, research awareness and procedure, method of research, tools of research and data collecting and analyzing for this paper.Chapter Three makes the comparing analysis of the classifications, syntax structures and methods of expressing of Vietnamese and Chinese existential sentences, leading to the hypothesis of the difficulties that Vietnamese learners may have during their acquirement of "V zhe" existential sentence.Chapter Four, based on the investigation of the situation of Vietnamese learners’ practical use of "V zhe" existential sentence, sums up the types of biased mistakes and explains the reasons of these mistakes, detecting the accuracy of the prior hypothesis and revealing the orderliness of making biased mistakes.Chapter Five, based on the results achieved in Chapter Four as well as the analysis and consideration of the characteristics of presence and teaching situation of "V zhe" the existential sentence in the Chinese Language Textbook, brings about the teaching suggestions in the field of the "V zhe" existential sentence, geared for Vietnamese learners.
