Grammar learning and training is an important part of language learning.When learning a language,if one does not have a good mastery of grammar,they cannot use words properly.This may results to speaking and writing articles that are incorrect,which makes it is easy to be misunderstood by others.From the language type point of view.Vietnamese and Chinese languages have many similarities:both Vietnamese and Chinese belong to independent languages,for example the word itself lacks morphological changes,word order and function words are important grammatical integrals.These are the common grammatical features of Chinese and Vietnamese languages.However.Vietnamese and Chinese s till have many different grammatical characteristics.For examplerin terms of word order,adverbials in Vietnamese are mostly placed at the center and behind,and attributives are also placed after the qualifiers.In both Chinese and Vietnamese,there are sentences expressing the type of existence.Existential sentences are sentences expressing the appearance or disappearance of a person or thing.Such sentences are called existential sentences both in Chinese and in Vietnamese languages.Although the research circles have studied the existential sentences for a long time,it can be said that up to date,the problems about Chinese existential sentences and Vietnamese existential sentences have not been thoroughly solved.There are many different opinions on existential sentences among scholars.Based on the achievements of previous researchers and the investigation of such sentences in Chinese and Vietnamese articles,this paper makes an analysis and comparison of the grammatical structure features of the existential sentences in Chinese and Vietnamese languages.Firstly,this paper gives a brief overview of the current research,status of existential sentences in Chinese and Vietnamese languages respectively.Next,the grammatical structure of the Chinese and Vietnamese existential sentences:at the beginning,the middle and the end of the sentences.Their components are comprehensively analyzed and described.The similarities and the differences in the grammatical structure between Vietnamese and Chinese existential sentences are found through the analysis of some examples.In this paper,the author hopes that through the comparative analysis of both Chinese and Vietnamese existential sentences.Chinese and Vietnamese learners can have a clearer understanding of the grammatical structure of such special sentences and get help in the learning process.
