Known as the Miao hinterland of the Southeast region, since the Hmong migrationto this since, Hmong people here have created a wide and thick national culture. Itspaper-cutting culture is one of its rich cultural manifestation forms, but also the carrierof their cultural heritage. This is the purpose and significance of this topic.This article is divided into five parts, forty thousand words.The first part makes a brief overview to the paper-cuting. It is concerned itsdistribution area, authoring tools, paper cutting skills and style characteristics and doa detailed description to these aspects. This part plays an important role to the thefurther analysis.The second part discusses the cultural and ecological environment of theSoutheast Guizhou Miao-paper-cut. Southeast Guizhou Miao-paper-cutting culture isto survive at how an ecological environment? In the second part of their naturalhabitats (including geological features, climatic characteristics, stream, context, andanimal and plant resources, etc.) and human habitats (including village residence, lastname, clan, social organizations, clothing, embroidery, holiday gatherings, marriageand burial ceremonies, etc.), two to be specifically addressed.The third part of their patterns of cultural connotations-depth inquiry anddiscourse. I view on the basis of previous researchers, in conjunction with theirunderstanding of the cultural connotation of its patterns is divided into a symbol ofcultural connotation, religious and cultural connotations, and three aspects of the folkhistorical and cultural connotation.Part IV focuses on the value and function.
