The Value Of China's Current Selection Of Vulnerable Groups Studied

Since late20th century, the vulnerable groups have been the main searching concept of Sociology, Moral Philosophy, Jurisprudence and Theory of Human Rights Research. Till the beginning of21st century, the concept of the vulnerable groups firstly appeared in "the government report of P.R.C", which recognized the exist of the vulnerable groups in our country. There after, a close attention of the vulnerable groups is focused on both of theoretical and practical area.Focus on the vulnerable groups is not only the center of the socialist but also the trend of the moral society. This thesis, in the name of " Research on the Selection of the Value of the vulnerable Groups in China", focuses on the moment selection of the value of the vulnerable groups in our country. Selection of the value is whatever a procedure of compare and choose between values. In todays’ China, we are in the risk of the anomie of the values. Thus, to realize the direction of the value of the vulnerable groups and make the right selection of the value become the center in our thinkings.This thesis consists of five parts. The author starts this thesis by introduction, Which mainly studies the researching backgrounds, purposes and significances, methods and thinkings, subjects and difficulties and introduces the theoretical innovation and shortage. From philosophy and sociology view, this thesis analyzes the current theory and practice of the vulnerable groups around the world, and recomb Marx’s value theory.In the third part, the author verifies the origin of the appearance and the characteristics of the vulnerable groups, and summarizes the subject of the vulnerable groups, which in the author’s eyes cover from the migrant workers and most of the peasants, the poor in city, the unemployed, the collapsed and the sem-unemployed. Then, the author analyzes their current living situation and finds that they generally share the same situation of low sense of family, poor consumption capability, less social communication and poor education, which definitely affect their sense of the value.The living situation defines the values. In the forth part, the author analyzes the current of the values of the vulnerable groups in our country, and finds that the vulnerable groups share the following characteristics of the values:1, utilitarianism2, potential contradiction3, diversified in selection, all what mainly caused by the marginalized values, poor legal consciousness.In the fifth part, this thesis mainly analyzes the four deciding affects of the value selection:1, economical reason;2, political reason;3, social reason and4, cultural reason. On the analysis of the four affects, the thesis thinks that the value of the vulnerable groups should be in harmony with the core socialist values with Chinese characteristics; coincide with legal and moral request; unify with the tradition and confirm to the globalized world’s general value. In the last, this thesis discusses the significance of realizing the right selection of the value for the vulnerable groups, which will benefit the general development of human beings, progress of the moral society.
