| Both Chinese and Yi are belong to Sino-Tibetan language, and they have some connections as well as diversities in phonetics, lexicons and structures. In this paper, we compare the connections and diversities of phonetic system between Chinese and Yi language. Through the survey of the Yi students’ phonetic, we know the types and causes of Yi students’biased error towards the mandarin finals. Then we provide some feasible strategies for teaching Yi students’ mandarin finals. In this paper, we compare the phonetic system of Chinese and Yi in this three aspects:Initials, finals and tones. Among them, the key point is to survey the mastery of mandarin finals. Through the survey, we found that phonetic biased error exist in monophthong finals, diphthong-finals and rhinolalia finals. The biased error of monophthong finals are mainly concentrated in e,o,u,ii. Each final of diphthong are all has biased error. The rate of biased errors in rhinolalia finals is highest, which is difficult for Yi students’ acquisition of finals. At the meantime, this paper discusses the cause of Yi students mandarin finals-errors:the negative transfer of the mother language of Yi, interference from Chinese itself, Yi students’ inadequate knowledge of Chinese finals, deviations in understanding of the laws of combination between initials and finals and inappropriate teaching strategies and acquisition strategies. On this basis, this paper puts forward the related countermeasures to teach Yi students’ mandarin finals, including contrast method, graphic method, and synthetic phonics. In the end, this paper give a summary, point out some defects and shortcomings, and hope to improve in the research and writing in the future. |
