The New "four Modernizations" Meaning The Process Of Cultural Construction Of Cities And Towns

The6thPlenary Session of the17thCentral Committee of the CPC passed Decisionof the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues on Deepening the CulturalSystem Reform and Promoting the Great Development and Prosperity of Socialism withChinese Characteristics, this session elaborated the development road of culture ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics and proposed to adhere to the culturaldevelopment road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, deepen the cultural systemreform, propose the great development and prosperity of socialist culture and makeefforts to construct a socialist cultural power. In November2012, it was proposed in thereport of the18thNational Congress of the CPC “to adhere to the road of road of newindustrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, proposethe deep blending of informatization and industrialization, benign interaction ofindustrialization and urbanization and mutual coordination of urbanization andagricultural modernization and promote the synchronous development ofindustrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization.” Thesemajor top-level design, policy information and strategic deployment indicate progressdirection for the issues of development of Chinese urbanization widely concerned inrecent years. The cultural field of China is in the broad and deep reform period, and it isthe future development trend of China to develop the urban culture of socialism withChinese characteristics and construct a socialist cultural power. In the process ofurbanization, the establishment of urban culture is of importance, the urban culture bothhas the relics and color of rural culture and the modern connotation of urban culture,being a new cultural pattern between rural culture and urban culture. It is believed inthis paper that the construction and establishment of urban culture are two importantparts of urbanization, and the important contents of soft power construction of urbanization. In a sense, without urban culture connotation, the urbanization will bereinforced fortress without vitality and soul. Towns in China are important links toconnect the city and rural areas, playing a vital role in the urban-rural integration, andurban culture construction is an inevitable way to take in the future urbanization.Therefore, researching the urban culture construction is of practical significance andtheoretical value. In the introduction to this paper, the author elaborates the researchbackground and topic selection significance and analyzes the research achievements ofdomestic and foreign urban culture construction; in the fires chapter, starting from theconcepts involved, the author defines important concepts, and reviews the developmenthistory of domestic and foreign urban cultures and elaborate their characteristics andenlightenment; in the second chapter, based on the new expression in the18thNationalCongress, the author analyzes the relation between urban culture and new urbanization,agricultural modernization, industrialization and informatization and discusses deeply;in the third chapter, from the domestic and foreign situations, the author discusses theopportunities and challenges in the urban culture construction of China, understands thesituation and deploys the construction and development of urban culture. Later, theauthor deeply discusses the problems existing in the construction of Chinese urbanculture construction and the footholds of urban culture construction and deepens thelevels gradually; the fourth chapter is the research on countermeasures for urban cultureconstruction, aimed at the reasons for the problems and by reference to the successfulmodels and experience in the domestic and foreign urban culture construction, theauthor analyzes the countermeasures respectively from the active role of governmentbehavior, development of cultural industry and educational training.
