The Study On Chifeng’s Urban Culture Construction

Urban culture is not only a product of urban development, but also the dynamic of city evolving.It has a lasting and inner influence of the development city.It is the source of the city’s cohesion and vitality. As a cultural city in Inner Mongolia it also explored in the cultural construction of urban. Chifeng spirit has been established, material culture has a further development, the process of creating urban brand has accelerated, historical and cultural heritage protection has a further development too; But in the process of the construction of urban culture have the following problems:the spirit of city has a small effect, has the similar city’s image, cultural integration lack of resultant, cultural industries are small and less competitive, protection of historical and cultural heritage to be solved and the quality of the people has be improved. In this paper, analyzed the problems from three aspects: government, market and social organizations. There are reasons government facing difficulties in the construction of urban culture, the negative impact of market-oriented and the social organizations can not play a positive effect in the construction of urban culture; So we have to clear the role of government in the city’s culture, use the role of market mechanisms in the cultural construction of the city and improve the ability of social organization.
