In recent years, the question of professional ethics of college teachers isincreasingly becoming a hot one to pay close attention and to research. Vocationalmorality appraisal system is kind of activity in which people evaluate their ownacknowledgement in professional ethics, emotions and behaviors as well as othercitizens’ on the basis of ethical standards and moral requirement. It is in this processthat an individual in a certain profession can abandon evil and raise well. We can notonly promote individual development of college teachers, but also can enhance theuniversity conditions power by means of vocational morality appraisal system,which quickens the progress of social civilization as well. However, we found thelack of systematic construction in the evaluation system of teachers’ morality, it onlyplace more emphasis on assessment criteria, but less on evaluation at the macro level,which leads to the problem of morality construction of teachers. For this reason, it’svital necessary to go into construction in the evaluation system of teachers’morality.This research starts from the basic conception of evaluation system ofcollege teachers’ morality, analyzing features on professional characteristics ofcollege teachers and discussing the problems and reasons of the evaluation system ofcollege teachers’ morality. It put forward suggestions and measures about buildingscientific evaluation system of college teachers’ morality. The whole passage can bedivided into four sections.The introduction includes present and significance of the problem, literaturereview and research methods, which states the significance both theoretically andpractically. It integrates the research status about the problem and concludes somemethods on the research.Chapter one states the relevant basic conceptions of valuation on teacher’sprofessional ethics. It mainly states the implication, features and importance inprofessional ethics of teachers, discussing the relationships between moralevaluation and autonomy as well as heteronomy.Chapter two introduces conditions of development in evaluation system ofcollege teachers’ morality. It separately reviews the details of evaluation of universityteachers in three different historical periods, taking the year of1978as an example.Chapter three is about solutions and ideas on evaluation system of collegeteachers’ morality, including principles, standards, levels on moral evaluation andconcrete methods as well. Besides,it discusses on working of evaluation system in ascientific way which is guaranteed by internal mechanism, supervisory mechanismand feedback mechanism.
