Guizhou Juvenile Crime Analysis And Prevention Research

The juvenile crime is so important that related to the whole life of the youngpeople, the happiness of their family, even to the social harmony and stability, and thefuture of the country. In recent years, with the process of the urbanization,industrialization and information—technology promotion, the juvenile crimebecoming a huge social problem in very short time in Guizhou province. What mortserious is the juveniles do these crimes rely on the organization, the violence, and atthe more younger age, as well as take the way as adults. Because of this, there moreand more vicious cases were happened, which bring the negative impact to the socialharmony and stability, and becoming the fundamental social problem in Guizhouprovince. So it is very important to analysis the reason, the basic situation, thecharacteristics, and the trend of the juvenile crime and finally to find out a targetedand effective preventive measure. This work must be play a key role in thedevelopment process of Guizhou province. This thesis including three chapters:Chapter I focus on the basic situation of juvenile crime as well as showing thecharacteristics and trends. First, show the basic situation at13aspects such asaccusation, identity, regional and the difference of years, and so on, basing on thedatabase system of Guizhou province prosecutors2003—2012. And then, summed upthe characteristics and trends, younger age, lower education, more professional andmore intelligent of guilty way, more violence and always target on the property andpersonal security.Chapter II try to explain the cause of the juvenile crime of Guizhou province,rely on the structure—functional theory. First introduced the famous westernsociology theory, the structure—functionalism, and feasibility and significance whichbe used in this thesis. Then according to the theory pattern,“Adaption”,“Goattainment”,“Integration”,“Latency” to analysis the theme. The conclusion isfollowed like this, the root cause is lack of resources, the main cause isgoal—dislocation, the important cause is integration system defect, and the directcause is common—value disorder.Chapter III is based on the status—role mode to analysis theinclined—to—be—crime young people, in the purpose to keep the social balance, bythe four functions above, to prevent the crime. This chapter focus on the young peoplewho come from the selected defect family and poor family, and on the young peoplewho are academically—and—morally—poor student, and whose parent are migrantworker, and on the young people who are unemployed or come from rural area. At theend of this thesis, the author point out the effective path to prevent juvenile crime is toreform the fundamental function of the social system.
