The Research Of The Social Organizations Participating In The Management Of Group Events

As China’s social reform is becoming more and more difficult, the socialcontradictions become more diversified and complicated with the diversification ofthe social structure and the social benefit. Mean while the frequency and intensity ofthe group events which as the contradictions among the people also has becomeincreased, so it has many negative effects obviously for many parts,such as theauthority of the Communist Party of China and the government, economicdevelopment and social harmony and stability.On the influence of western new public management movement, the Chinesegovernment began to explore the path of building a service-oriented government,leaving some blank space to social organizations for many public management,transferring a lot of social governance functions, encouraging social organizations asthe management main body, to play their own advantages. In the management ofgroup events, people subconsciously have long argued that the main task ofgovernance is government. But due to the complexity of group incidents, and thegovernment departments’ limitations which in the allocation of resources and theorganization system, it is difficult to make a rapid, efficient and flexible move forsolving group events, which only rely on the governance of government. We need toestablish a multi-party cooperation, and a long-term effective governancemechanism. In recent years, the rapid development of social organization hasbecome an effective strength for the management of group events, and they completethe task which the government and the market may not be able to complete.This paper is divided into five parts to discuss the theme. The first part is theintroduction, including the research background, research significance, the presentsituation, the research methods and innovation of this thesis. The second part is anoverview of the relevant theory of social organization and group events. The third part analysis the development of China’s social organizations,the present situation ofgroup events, and also the current situation of social organizations to participate inthe management of group events. The fourth part analyzes is the function and thedifficulties of social organizations participating in the management of groupincidents. The fifth part discuss the specific countermeasures of the socialorganizations participating in group events. According to the difficulties describedover the third part, this part has put forward the countermeasures from four aspectsas government, law, social organizations, civil society. Such as to transform thegovernment function, to establish a special law for social organization, to strengthenthe organization and management of social organization, to foster citizenconsciousness, and to promote the growth of civil society, etc.
