Research On The Application Of Vehicle Routing Problem In Serices For The Aged

After entering into21th century, with the decline in mortality rate and the increase of average life expectancy, the aged population of our country is gradually increasing, which makes the phenomenon of aging of our country more and more serious. Accompanied by the high demands of material life and spiritual life, people pay more attention to the services for the aged. And then the problems of distribution for services for aged come out. As a typical problem of the distribution for the aged, distribution vehicle routing problem is bound to become a hot topic, so as to reduce the cost of logistic activities, and earn more lucrative economic benefits for the enterprise, and promote the harmonious development of society.Firstly, we make a brief instruction of the background of the pension problem and vehicle routing problem, and we analyze the research status of home and abroad. Secondly, we summarized some elements of distribution problem for the aged, and classified the problems, and also introduce some existing algorithm to solve the problems briefly. On the basis of these theories, we refine two ordinary types of vehicle routing problem that are distribution problem for the aged with time windows and period distribution problem for the aged, and establish the corresponding mathematic model. After that, we introduce the Particle Swarm Optimization, and describe the basic idea and process of PSO, and the make a improve using the random inertia weight. And then we use the improved algorithm to solve the cases of the two types of problems in distribution for the aged, and analyze the results. Through the case study, it demonstrated that application of vehicle routing problem in distribution for the aged is practical and useful. And finally, a simple system of service of the distribution for the aged is designed, and it uses simulated map to realize the visualization application for the path of distribution solution.
