The Study On Cai Yuanpei Dialectical Moral Education Thought And Its Contemporary Value

China had entered the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society since theOpium War in1840.Numerous people with lofty ideals and perseverance hadexplored the way to save their country throughout their lives, under thethreat of Western powers’gunboats. And Cai Yuanpei, a well-knowneducator was one of these people whose thoughts, personalities and actionshave a profound impact on the development of China’s modern revolutionand educational reform.The profound Educational Thoughts of Cai,have rich theoretical andpractical significance. Among these thoughts of Cai, the Thinking of FiveAspects of Education contains a wealth of dialectical thinking. And amongthese five aspects,Cai emphasizes the Moral Education most. There arenumerous research findings on Cai Yuanpei Moral Education Thoughts，butfindings on Cai Yuanpei Dialectical Moral Education Thoughts are quitefew. Therefore, this paper will try to do research and provide elaborationon Dialectical Moral Education Thoughts of Cai’s educational thoughts.Firstly, this article will start from the discussion on the conditionsand basis of Cai’s Moral Education Thought, focusing on the historicalbackground, cultural background of the formation of Cai’s Thoughts，and analyzing the influence of radical change of the semi-colonial andsemi-feudal times on Cai’s educational thoughts. In addition, thisarticle will analyze the revolution and educational practice experiencesof Cai,and study the influences of these experiences on his educationalthoughts, especially the Dialectical Moral Education Thoughts.Moreover, this paper will illustrate the various moral dialecticalrelationships of goals， principles， contents and methods of moraleducation, combining the Cai Yuanpei Moral Education Thoughts’formationbackground, cultural background and practical experience.Then,combinedwith the analysis of related original literatures as well as the researchof descendants， conclusions are given.Finally, this article will discuss the significance, value andrevelations of Cai Yuanpei Dialectical Moral Education Thoughts for theestablishment of harmonious society of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the reform of moral education of China.
