In recent years, food safety events in countries around the world which threat people’s healthand life. Governments and consumers given unprecedented attention on food safety. Whetherdeveloped or developing, there is the risk of outbreak of a food safety problem. Therefore, foodsecurity has become a worldwide topic, has become the focus of attention of all countries.Since the founding of China, with the development of society, the food safety issues becomemore and more complicated. This paper discusses the food safety mode and the way to perfect it.The first chapters of the four elements of the food safety regulatory mode analysis. Analyzesthe food safety regulatory legal system, regulatory bodies, the regulators and the regulatorymethods.The second chapter overview of Chinese food safety regulatory model. The evolution of theregulatory model in China after the founding of the regulatory model, and carried out the analysison the problems exposed by clenbuterol event.The third chapter for the introduction of foreign regulatory mode. Various foreign regulatoryapproach to China can learn from.The fourth chapter the perfect regulatory model for Chinese food safety laws. Based on theactual situation in China, combined with foreign experiences, put forward a sound advice.
