An Analysis Of China Politics And Policy Process Based On The Policy Networks Theory

The policy network theory produced in1970s, for finding more explanatory theory or methods on politics and policy process. The policy network is a general term of some interactive relationships between country and multiactor in the policy process.Chinese society is a relationship society. The politics and policy process contains more complicated policy networks in a relationship. The policy network theory may be more explanatory than traditional Stage theory paradigm in policy process study. There are more and more social conflicts in transitional China. With this background, learning the policy network theory of western and using it to explain china politics> policy process based on China reality. Finding the Chinese policy network and analysing politics in contemporary China.This thesis was divided into five parts. The introduction part main introduces the research review of policy network theory, and the most research results are from western scholars. The first chapter introduces the background、relevant concepts and difference of policy network. The second chapter analyse relation between Chinese social characters and western policy network theory. In next chapter, analyzing the Chinese policy network this is based on Chinese macroscopic and microscopic policy practice. Discussing the characters of Chinese policy network in chapter four and the difference with western society. Finally, there is a brief conclusion and simple thinking with the policy network and contemporary Chinese society.
