Research On The Peasants’ Subjective Role In New Socialist Countryside Construction

The Fifth Plenary Session of the16th CPC Central Committee put forward a major historic task of building a new socialist countryside, and pointed out the direction of the solution of the problem of agriculture, rural areas and peasants.Building a new socialist countryside is a great long-term project which has far-reaching significance for agriculture development, rural civilization and peasants’improvement. The problem of agriculture, rural areas and peasants has always been the major problem what affected the overall situation of China’s economic and social development. At present, China has entered medium phase of industrialization as a whole and preliminarily achieved economical strength that industry can sustain agriculture in reverse and city can support country. Learn from the successful experience at home and abroad, we must accelerate the new socialist countryside construction to achieve the economic and social development of cities and counties in harmony. Peasants must play the Subjective role in new socialist countryside construction.In this paper, the author adopts the method of comparative study, integrates qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, empirical research with theoretical research. By analyzing the peasants localization in new socialist countryside construction, the author points that peasants are the main forces in new socialist countryside construction.The author analyzes what limit the peasants play the Subjective role in the construction from both peasants and the government. Then, find efficient paths to let peasants play subjective role in new socialist countryside construction by the analysis of practical experience at home and abroad.And on the basis of theoretical research before, do empirical research by the practical experience of TaiShan District’s new socialist countryside construction. Summarized the main achievements and summed up the problems in new socialist countryside construction of Taishan District. Explore the paths which can let the peasants play the Subjective role in new socialist countryside construction. Finally, countermeasure and suggestion are offered.
