Obstacle And Countermeasure Research Of Government Microblogs’ Opinion Guidance

Nowadays, with the development of mobile Internet technology, microblog has beenwidely popular in China. Microblog has not only become a platform for informationtransmission and sharing, and it also has become an important channel for the public toexercise the right of participation and expression. The public can freely express their opinionsthrough the microblog as a new media. The expression of public opinions has become animportant way to appeal and influence government decision-making. In the face of theimpact of microblog boom, many Chinese government departments have opened governmentmicroblog, using it to release government information and guide the public opinion.Although microblog brings convenience to the public, there also exists a lot of problems.Microblog has lots of false information and rumors, irrational expression and emotionalthoughts. Different contents and ideology make the microblog become complex. In the fieldof microblog public opinion, there exist a few micro-blog user blindly expressing adversepublic opinions. There are more and more young and less educated users in the microblog,and they are easily influenced. If the microblog opinions are not corectly guided, it will beharmful to the social order, and even induce mass events, not good for the harmonious andhealthy development of society. The complex reality of microblog opinion field and thesituation of microblog users are calling for government microblog to guide public opinion.Because the government microblog has just started in our country, there are still someobstacles and problems in the process of guiding public opinion. How to overcome theseobstacles and effectively guide microblog public opinion worth us to discuss and study.This paper chooses Sina microblog as the platform, combining the governmentmicroblog and guidance of public opinion to research. In this paper, I used a dynamic viewresearch government microblog opinion guidance，and I used the latest government microblogopinion guidance cases. This paper relates to knowledge of different fields,such as politics,sociology, public opinion and jounalism. I research from different angles in order to improvemake the study profound and comprehensive. The paper falls into three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion. The introduction part introduces the methods, present status andbackground of this research. The main body contains three chapters. The first chapter describes the necessity, present status and advantages of government microblog publicopinion guidance by collecting a large amount of literature. The second chapter analyzes thecurrent obstacles of China’s current government microblog opinion guidance by the surveystatistics and actual cases. The third chapter discusses the countermeasures and suggestions ofgovernment microblog opinion guidance. The conclusion part summarizes this paper. It pointsout that, facing the new opinion field, only government departments actively intervene andfind out the approaches, can they make the government microblog play the function ofopinion guidance.
