As a writer in nineteenth century, Fyodor Dostoyevsky is famous in Russia. His thought mainly around human nature and it has great significance for us to comprehend human existence. This paper deals with it systematically from the new perspective of the moral education thought. First this paper try to describe that Dostoyevsky’s moral education thought, with a strong national character, meets the requirements of the times. Second discuss the theme and the ultimate goal of Dostoyevsky’s moral education thought, whose basic ideal is thinking of the people and the ultimate concern of human. He insisted on the point that human nature is evil and human are born guilty. However, human has freedom which is given by the God. Everyone can be redeemed by choosing a religious way freely with the guidance of Christ, in order to achieve perfection and final aim of moral education. Last this paper makes a summary and evaluation on Dostoyevsky’s moral education, explains its effect on scholars in the future. It helps human to get out of moral mess and inspiration on China’s building of spiritual civilization in transition, even limitation of his view.
