The work of Party-building is the fundamental guarantee for enhancing government capability and it played an extremely important role in the period of Revolutionary War and peace-building era. In the new historical period, its main content and form have also undergone great changes. The report at18th Party Congress also emphasize the need to "adhere to the people-oriented, governing for the people, and always maintain the party’s close ties with the masses" and to " Resolutely overcome formalism and bureaucracy to better party conduct, improve cohesion of people and party, and promote government ethics morals Strengthening the building of the CPC’ s style will prevent Party members and cadres from separating themselves from the masses, and reducing bureaucracy and corruption could enable people to fully express their feelings and wishes, at the same time, promoting the harmonious development of society, and in the end realizing the double harvest of material civilization and spiritual civilization. However, needless to say, at present, the CPC style building is facing new problems. Under the new situation, issues like how to adhere to the party’s fine tradition, how to insist and develop the mass line, promoting the Party’s work style, have become much more pressing.Based on the Chinese Communist Party’s general requirements for style construction and research achievements of experts and scholars, combined with the main task of the work unit and the actual work of the department, this paper refined and summarized the practice of the style-building in recent years, undertook exploration on content、methods and approaches of civil servants style-building, in the meanwhile make a preliminary study on the basic concepts, content and basic laws of style-building. Besides, this paper also summarized some research results on single style building in order to make working style more systematic, rational science and standardized. During the process of writing, the paper mainly adopt methods of practical study, drew inspirations from a number of successful practices concerning the government agencies’style building, at the same time describe the facts that the author encountered when involving herself in style-building practices. Not only did the paper provide theory, but also it offered practical cases. I hope this paper could provide some help to government agencies and help to strengthen the work style construction.
