Deng Xiaoping Thought Fair Distribution To Achieve A Fair Distribution Of Research And China

Fair distribution thought of Deng Xiaoping is a constituent part of Deng Xiaoping Theory, the inheritance and development of equitable distribution theory of Marx Engels and Mao Zedong though and a Chinese-style Marxism combining the actual situation in China. This thesis firstly presents the sources, formation process and content of Deng Xiaoping’s equitable distribution theory; following this the current distribution system in China is analyzed:the achievements of China’s reform of the distribution system is affirmed and the problems of the distribution system in China are also pointed out; the problem of unfair distribution is especially an in-depth analysis in this thesis; after these analysis this thesis further discusses the reasons the widening income gap among the industry and individual workers, urban and rural areas, different regions, and coastal and inland areas; finally, this thesis proposes some countermeasures to solve the unequal distribution of income for the existing problems under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping’s equitable distribution theory:firstly, productivity is to be improved and the total wealth is to be expanded in order to improve the level of distributive justice and the equitable distribution of income policy; secondly, efforts are to be made to balance and co-ordinate regional, urban and rural, coastal and mainland development so as to promote equitable income distribution; monopoly and illicit enrichment is to be restricted so as to narrow the gap between industries; besides, this thesis emphatically demonstrates the importance of a sound legal system and the importance of using legal means to regulate income distribution order; again, this thesis presents a concrete analysis of the Chinese government’s policy instruments to adjust income redistribution and stresses that the government should increase spending on public services, i.e. to promote fair redistribution through the improvement of the social security system and tax adjustment mechanism of income distribution; finally, this thesis elaborates the importance of education fairness, insisting on education priority to achieve the equalization of education and improve the qualities and abilities of the workers, which can help to solve the income gap fundamentally.
