Study On The Demand And Supply Of Home Care Service In Xiamen

Our country has entered the aging ranks since2000, and it is along with aging, empty nest, the weakening of old-age at home and in structures, so how to solve the pension problem has become an important issue that must be solve for our government. The home care service is the medicine. It accords with China’s national conditions.Xiamen city has moved toward on aging society in1994. The government attached great importance to the person problem and carried out the pilot work of home care service. Its rapid development and significant achievements makes studying it has important theoretical and practical significance. This paper chooses the earliest of the Xiamen’s twelve pilot communities as the object and studies the demand and supply of home care service.This paper divides into six parts:The first part is introduction. It introduces the background, meaning and literatures, and it elaborates the object, ways, innovation, deficiency, concepts.The second part is Theory. It introduces the community care theory, hierarchy needs theory and welfare pluralism theory. They are the theoretical support.The third part is the analysis on the demand and supply of home care services in Xiamen. It introduces the demand and supply of the pilot communities.The fourth part is the match evaluation on the demand and supply. It researches the match by exploring the services, use and price. There is a mismatch conclusion.The fifth part is the causes. It indicates five causes:the cognitive deviation, the no-establishment of the multiple responsibility mechanism, the imperfect of support system, the deficiency of evaluation and the immature of the market and industry.The sixth part is the suggestions. It includes enhancing the level of cognition, establishing the multiple responsibility mechanism, constructing the support system, improving the evaluation mechanism and increasing the market and industry pace.
