Auxiliary police is the temporary auxiliary police staff, playing an important rolein grass-roots public security work. They safeguard the social security, fight crimes andenhance public security organ’s capacity of performing their functions according to lawin the way of their participation in social management and service.The largest number of auxiliary police has reached to over two million in China.According to incomplete statistics, currently the number has been reduced to about1.5million even after the rectification and administration in2004. This large scale group isthat the police play an irreplaceable role in the management of social security in China,effectively relieve some local police and police shortage contradiction. For the current auxiliary policegroup management standardization in our country has carried on the system analysisand investigation. And the related countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
