Under the background of the continuous development of social economy and the increasingly complex situation of social security,the auxiliary police team has become an important auxiliary force for the public security departments to perform their duties according to law,especially in the case of the serious shortageof the official police force,the auxiliary police group has greatly relieved the pressure of the serious inconsistency between the existing police force and the actual demand,and assisted the public security departments to maintain social security order,patrol prevention and control It has played an important role in protecting the safety of people's lives and property and has become an indispensableforce in maintaining social security and stability.However,due to the long absence of legal norms,the lack of ideological understanding,and the lag of management and guarantee,the auxiliary police team has exposed the problems of largemobility,uneven quality,nonstandard duty,low combat effectiveness,and even the phenomena of ultra vires law enforcement,lawbreaking and discipline.At the same time,the auxiliary police team generally has poor psychological status,lackof professional identity and so on.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to deeply understand the current situation of the auxiliary police team,to study the standardization construction of the auxiliary police team,and to explore howto further effectively manage the auxiliary police team.This is also an importantissue that public security departments around the world are generally facing and urgently need to solve.This paper takes Huizhou public security departments as the research object,investigates the professional identity,work intensity,job burnout,system construction and management difficulties of the auxiliary police team by means of fieldinvestigation,individual interview and questionnaire survey,and analyzes the current situation and existing deficiencies of the management of the auxiliary police team in Huizhou by referring to the experience of the standardization construction of the auxiliary police team at home and abroad.It is found that there are some problems in the management of the auxiliary police team,such as lack of supervision on the illegal and disciplinary behaviors of the auxiliary police,allowing the auxiliary police to enforce the law beyond their authority,insufficient incentive on the work performance of the auxiliary police team,and inadequate maintenance of the stability of the team.The main reasons for these problems are theabsence of legal norms,the low level of security,the nonstandard daily management mechanism,and the neglect of the influence of the psychological factors ofthe auxiliary police.Based on the theory of public management and the practiceof public security work in Huizhou City,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures for the standardized management of the auxiliary police team from theaspects of improving the legal guarantee mechanism of the auxiliary police team,improving the internal management mechanism of the auxiliary police team and improving the treatment guarantee mechanism of the auxiliary police team.
