China’s Political Democratization Process In Union Democracy

Trade unions are mass organizations of the working class, which not only reflectsa kind of social relationship between the workers, but also shows the relationshipbetween the unions and workers. In this regard, the union is a worker, and the basis ofthe development of the trade union is mainly driven by workers. This process willcontain the realization of the rights and interests of workers and trade union democracybuilding, link is the union of two relations functions. Especially with thetransformation of social economy in China nowadays, the function of trade union andcloser ties with democratic construction, and directly affects the benign developmentof the union.This dissertation is based on the above background and ideas, not only to combthe history of China’s trade unions, but also to place it in the process of China’sdemocracy construction. Although we can find that, after decades of development,China’s trade union has made remarkable achievements, there is no denying that, asChina’s economic situation and structure are changing, China’s trade unions is in thedevelopment opportunities and severe challenges. To this end, if China’s trade unionsreally wants to “represent”members’ benefits under the system of socialist democracy.It not only needs to improve the top of institutional design, but also shouldbreakthrough "barrier"of ideas. Insistes on under the leadership of the party adjustingits structure, improve its basic functions, expand the scope of its members and thegovernment, timely, appropriate potential so as to play to the role of the economicrelations "safety valve" more perfectly, ultimately contributing to the construction ofsocialist democratic politics.
