Study The Operation Mechanism Of Citizen Participation In Building A Clean Government

Without the support and participation of the masses, it is impossible to build a clean government. The masses, the media and community groups has played an extremely important role in exposing corruption and supervising the public authority operation. Research citizen participation in clean government is exactly the only way to fight against corruption.This paper start with analyzing the current operation mechanism and its effection, indicate the important significance of citizen participation in clean government. Then through analyzing the current operation mechanisms of the citizen participation in building a clean government, we find that the current operation mechanism have many problems, just as the information is not completely opened, the government’s response is not positive, the way of citizen participation is very little and that the right to participate is insecurity. All of these lead to serious consequence, like the citizen participation have not enough depth, lack of breadth and the effect is not significant.To solve these problems, we propose there must be firm confidence and comprehensive system protection to make efficient and orderly citizens participation in building clean government. So we must establish and improve the institutional mechanisms by legal protection, right guaranteed and assign responsibilities. We have to enhance the masses sense of participation and improve their ability. We also must expand participation ways, enhance the government’s response and reward to the masses in order to promote clean government of our country.
