Network Public Opinion Research Governance Of Government

As last century’s one of the most important technology development for mankind, internet, accompanied by the development of politics, economy, culture and society, has become an important platform for the expression of public comment on current affairs, politics and opinions, playing an important role in China’s political and social life, which brings new challenges to the work of the government. How to properly deal with network public opinion still exist shortages from the aspect of the government, these problems restrict the development of social economy and social stability of the local government. This paper first describes the meaning and characteristics of network public opinion and the current management of network public opinion, analyzes the reason cause the problems exist in the management of the government network public. At the same time, foreign mature system and practice experience provide reference for our government governance of network public opinion. Finally, this paper provides suggestions from the construction of scientific network public opinion management system, the promotion of monitoring and predicting the network public opinion, the establishment of a better network public opinion assessment system, the guidance of public opinion in the construction of network culture, the promotion the active participation of citizens in network management, a good image of the government in public opinion events.
