Xingtai Problems Existing In The Public Transport Services And Countermeasure Research

Public transportation in a city is the important area witch concerns every citizen’s lifeand also the bottleneck to the city development. As the public transportation affects everyaspect of the city life directly, it is a key point to the improvement of the public service in ourcountry. As the forth tier city of North China, Xingtai City occupies an important position andowns abundant natural resources and convenient traffic condition. Although the broaddevelopment space it has, Xingtai city is the backward city in Hebei province as before, andits public transportation service problem is serious also. The improvement of middle-sizedand small cities’ public transportation can not only develops the citizens’ transportationproblem, but also drives the development of the relative industries and the economy of thecity.This research used document method and questionnaire method, studied the publictransportation problem of Xingtai city and the reasons to these problems, then offered someproposals to improve the situation.
