In the migrant workers, the proportion of the new generation of migrant workers is growing, more than60%.It will affects the city social harmony and stability whether the new generation of migrant workers can be integrated into the city,however the intergroup bias between them and the city people will generate a huge impact for the new generation of migrant workers integrating into the society.It is significant for exploring the relationship among social identity, collective self-esteem and intergroup bias of new generation of migrant workers to reveal the intergroup bias of psychological mechanisms and to develop the strategies of eliminating intergroup bias.In this paper, from a psychological perspective,took the new generation of migrant workers for the study,through the use of questionnaires, measuring and analyzing the new generation of migrant workers of the relationship of social identity, collective self-esteem and intergroup bias.After using the method of intervention, That is under threat scenarios,to measure those three variables of the new generation of migrant workers are wether changed or not. The main conclusions as follows:1. New of migrant workers’social identity^collective self-esteem and intergroup prejudice is a positive correlation of the three, and social identity and collective self-esteem of new generation of migrant workers play a very good predictor of prejudice on the intergroup bias.2. Collective self-esteem played a portion intermediary effect between social identity and intergroup bias of the new generation of migrant workers, Collective self-esteem plays a part action on the effects of social identity for intergroup bias.3. In the threat scenario,the degree of intergroup bias of new generation of migrant workers for outgroup has increased than those who are in non-threatening scenario, the differences of results for the two scenarios is significant.4. Meanwhile in the threat scenario,The degree of social identity and collective self-esteem of new generation of migrant workers for outgroup has increased than those who are in non-threatening scenario, the differences of results for the two scenarios is significant,too.
